kernel panic on boot with fedora 15

Thanks for this so far. Running the command
dracut /boot/initramfs-2.6.38.6-27.fc15.x86_64.img 2.6.38.6-27.fc15.x86_64
dracut just prints out its help

This isn't currently the running kernel - is there something else I need 
to do?
