kernel panic on boot with fedora 15

That just gives me the same thing but with an empty logfile. It's like I'm 
not giving it enough parameters or something. What does it depend on on my 
filesystem? I may conceivably have missing files or something?

Also, I'm in rescue mode at the moment, if I force removed the kernel 
using rpm and reinstalled it, should it do it for me?
