I can not find it again, but there was a place where you could
specify that you get asked for a password on resume that was
independent of returning from the screen saver. That works better
for me, because I have the screen blank while I am still at the
laptop, and do not want to enter the password when I go back to
working with the laptop, but I do want it when I come back from
suspend or hibernate. If I am going to be going away from the
laptop, I lock the screen manually.
