Unable to connect to scanner

A question....  When I use gimp and go to "create" I see one of my selections to be...

Xsane:hpaio:'net'Officejet6500E709n?ip=192.168.0.195

is that what you are seeing or do you see hpaio:/net/  ?

Everything is working fine for me.  Maybe power cycle your printer?
