3.7 kernels and kswapd

However, I have never used git.
What's the quick and dirty way of downloading this kernel.

I tried to use

git checkout 
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git

But it of course did not understand what I would like to accomplish.
