how can i get widescren display on my new Dell 3010?

guys,

can any of you fedora and dell gurus clue me in on how to get a screen 
resolution of ~1920x1080 on my new Dell 3010?  my older dual has this
resolution but it was given to me; I have no clue what's inside.

my new Dell maxes out with a [5:4] resolution of something close to
1200x1024.  This is the box with the UEFI that I finally got past.  the
last thing is the widescreen solution.
