Problem with yum update && yum upgrade

Thanks Susi, I use both apt in ubuntu and yum in Fedora and am aware of 
differences.
sudo yum update produces the same error:

  You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
  You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

so does not resolve the problem of failing dependencies.
