I'm well aware that F14 is EOL but was hoping someone has some ideas
on what might be causing the problem. It seems to be limited to one
LVM volume.

I was trying to wait on getting MythTV packages built for EL6 but it's
taking much longer than I hoped to get all the required packages (old
versions in RHEL, EPEL, or required packages in EPEL and RPM Fusion
EPEL).
