F16-X86_64-Live-KDE won't boot on XPS 17

Video card: Quadro 1000M (and the Nvidia binary driver built via akmod)
Spin:       Fedora-15-x86_64-DVD.iso

I also customised during installation so I have all the same tools and
libs).  I am running KDE.

Never tried.  I always install from the DVD.iso off of local disk one a
clean LVM volume group.
