Hi,

I'm using F16 and Windows 7 (with Grub2 as bootloader). I'm only use
Windows 7 a few if times in my job.

After a "Windows Update", Windows 7 Won't boot anymore. I have no idea why
and how can I restore it.

My partitions are:

Model: ATA HITACHI HTS54505 (scsi)
Disk /dev/sda: 500GB
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B
Partition Table: msdos

Number Start End Size Type File system Flags
 1 1049kB 211MB 210MB primary ntfs boot
 2 211MB 78.9GB 78.6GB primary ntfs
 3 78.9GB 79.4GB 524MB primary ext4
 4 79.4GB 500GB 421GB extended lba
 5 79.4GB 500GB 421GB logical lvm

The problem is that I haven't DVD Windows because is a OEM edition. Is
there a way to restore the windows loader from Linux? I've tried using
rescatux but it didn't work.

Thanks in advance!
