I never had the broadcom-wl driver loaded!

This is what I have:
lsmod |grep b43
b43                   357090  0
mac80211              301459  1 b43

And the problem is that I can't extract the needed firmware, repeat:

b43-fwcutter -w /lib/firmware wl_apsta.o
Sorry, the input file is either wrong or not supported by b43-fwcutter.
This file has an unknown MD5sum e1b05e268bcdbfef3560c28fc161f30
