Can't boot Linux after motherboard change

Have you tried fully charging the battery to full capacity? Some laptops
don't work off of the AC directly, but off the battery, which is cont'ly
charged by the AC. If the battery is at a low level, any requirement for
high current drain such as when doing cpu intensive tasks, can exceed the
battery's capabilities if it's not fresh.
