It's probably best to ask on its own list (freeipa-users at redhat.com),
but you'll probably be asked if you mean that you're using md5-style
crypt() (example: "$1$salt$qJH7.N4xYta3aEG/dfqo/0") or actual MD5 (16
bytes of binary data, maybe in hex or base64-encoded form).
