You assume wrong.  After it crashed, it came right back up.  (There 
wasn't a kernel update this time to mung.)  It updated this morning, 
Just Fine, TYVM.  I just want to get that hinky[1] "transaction" out of 
my history so that I don't have to worry about it in the future.
