I can't see howyou choose your Desktop Environment

If all else fails, create a file (as root):
  /etc/sysconfig/desktop
contents:
  PREFERRED=/usr/bin/startxfce4
and reboot.

I installed my F16 system from the Live XFCE disk, and this file
was automatically created.
