I don't use xrdp.  However, I believe it listens on port 3389.

You can test to make sure your server is running simply by doing something like this....

[egreshko at meimei ~]$ telnet 192.168.0.198 3389
Trying 192.168.0.198...
Connected to 192.168.0.198.
Escape character is '^]'.

from the client side....
