recommend some info on hot to upgrade from F15 to F16 using preupgrade

Believe me !!!
Do a clean install.
And partition your hard drive with gparted.
Give / 40 % and /home 60% and 1024 for Swap .
This way the next time you upgrade you will not format /home, format / 
only and do a fresh install.
Preupgrade never works as it should, Any third party apps you have will 
give you problems because of mismatch in Versions.
I have tried preupgrade a number of times and it never works right after 
upgrade.
