I was going to say:  Perhaps the file got corrupted when you downloaded
it.  Try downloading it again, and see if that changes anything.

But I notice that you mention two completely different files:

  openssh-5.8p2-24.fc16.src.rpm
  openssh-5.9p1-19.fc18.src.rpm

So, you have one error there.  

Do you have both files, and you accidentally trying to install the wrong
one?  Perhaps there's been a difference between how RPM checksums
packages between Fedora 16 & 18.
