Sata device in a USB docking station problems.

I have connected the problematic drive directly to a USB port and have NOT seen ONE failure since I did this. I've been making this drive VERY BUSY.

This appears to have been the problem.

How does one find a USB 1 to many splitter that actually works correctly?
