Thanks very much for the detailed explanations! First, your new spec
file worked for me, now I will have to study it and your e-mail in
greater detail to understand this more.

I also found this odd....

However,

$ sudo yum install libX11-devel
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit,
remove- : with-leaves
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
 * fedora: mirror.steadfast.net
 * rpmfusion-free: mirror.us.leaseweb.net

Setting up Install Process
Package libX11-devel-1.4.3-1.fc16.x86_64 already installed and latest
version
Nothing to do

But your new spec file worked in the sense that it created the rpm. Now
i will test it (later when I have more time).

Thanks very much again!!

Best wishes,
Ranjan
