Fedora 16 continously rebooting

Good point. It seems like a reboot to me, i.e. it doesn't try to recover the 
journal upon the next boot. But even if it crashes, I don't know what would 
have cause such a reproduceable crash. 

Unfortunately, I've given up to try to fix this. I did a fresh reinstall and 
things seem to be OK now.
