network manager has gone crazy

I wonder if you have a file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-wlan0
(or similar) that ways your wifi is controlled by NM?
If so maybe NM would overwrite /etc/resolv.conf
when it finds there is no WiFi connection?
