hdd failing messages false positive or failure

Late last evening I recieved this error while working in terminal.

connected via a esata connected dock the cable appeard to be a bit lose
could this generate this type of error is this drive really failing?

also my system drive along with all of my external drives show identical
resaults the only difference is the drive sizes testing output on my
system drive is below.
