F18: Fedora icon on gdm replaced by a fuzzy rectangle

I had this on another distribution. It happened various times due to
various different things. Once, I switched drivers to fix it (from
nvidia to nouveau). Another time there was an interaction between the
driver and some low level package (IIRC clutter or maybe lower down the
stack).

Suggest filing a bug and mentioning what is unique about that machine.
Guessing the video card is different.
