not really. just read thru it a few times before you start to be sure you
understand procedure.

procedure is long when you read it as written. it is/can be, done in a
short time.

most important, be sure you understand what to do. and, as already stated,
_backup_first_. aka, "cyoa"

what would have made it quick and easy would have been to "ask first",
either here or in mozilla's support list. [i keep up with both] you would
have been told to just make a backup/copy and install it. ;=)

there are linux users on mozilla lists using various os. so, we do have
linux covered. because i am using sl for 'online', i am using 17.0.8
releases. not "latest and greatest" with all the "bells and whistles",
but, it is stable and sl crew does keep up with rhel for bugs and
security.

if you decide to install oos again, you can link the oos profile to linux
from linux, but not so other way around. oos is at fault for that.
