/etc/sysconfig/network has nothing to do with the hostname, hence it
was even removed due yum-dist-upgrades and moved to /etc/hostname

[root at srv-rhsoft:~]$ cat /etc/hostname
srv-rhsoft.rhsoft.net

[root at srv-rhsoft:~]$ hostname
srv-rhsoft.rhsoft.net
