Yea, every example of Intel Management Engine docs I've found
(which contained coherent sentences) all talk about things
that the IT department can do to administer systems
at a low level behind the operating system's back, possibly
even behind the BOIS' back.

None of those things should require a kernel module
(in fact they seem to revel in being totally outside
the realm of the kernel and beyond the capability of the
kernel to affect).

I'm still looking for one concrete example of something useful
the mei kernel module does for anyone.
