Fedora hangs driving me nuts, in Windows it works without problems!

You can keep things easy if you're not used to compile your own
kernel, just take the actual Fedora .config and do a

make oldconfig
make
make modules_install
make install

Such a kernel lives peacefully side by side with any Fedora kernel.
