I ran various levels of Fedora on 2 different Dell D630's for about
3 years until I upgraded to a Dell E6410.

No software problems for me, but it depends on exactly which components
you have: video card, wireless card.  Probably any modern Fedora will
work perfectly.  Just download a LiveCD and try it.
