Fedora 18 - Howto not install on LVM.

Good day,

Installed fedora 18 twice on different usb drives.
First gave fedora a free hand on an empty partition.
Got boot  and LVM in that partition with my other partitions untouched.

After some google..maybe a solution. Tried on another drive.

Manual partition on the installer.
Created the empty partition to be only "/".
After install the partition is LVM.
  I really would like that the partition should be a large "/".
  I do not know anything about LVM and would like it to stay that way.
