Problem whit F18

The problem That I have is, I am use Fedora 17 and it works fine,download fedora 18 xfce 32 bit, from the website of fedora check withchecksum, and is all right.restart with the live CD and it works fine, but when installingthe installation freezes at language selection screenwhy this happens? ... as I said earlier is very rare because F17 runsfine on my system.there is a way to upgrade F17 to F18 from the LiveCD?have problems with the Kernel?Dell Optiplex g270 32bitI'll be very grateful for your help
