F18 sound issue

That is strange.....   When it is at the top is everything working correctly?

My system is a desktop and I have no issues.  I'm using, forced to use, the nVidia drivers since my GT240 card isn't supported by nouveau.

I get something like that from time to time.  Don't know what triggers it and forgetting the devices has never caused my issues.

My system is a fresh install, except for the /home directory.
