I think we all make allowances for English not being the native language of
everyone here, but on the whole most non-native speakers make a better job
of it than he does. He also seems to think he can make up his own grammar
(e.g. he still behaves as if 'i' were an English word, despite being told
that it isn't). However all that is beside the point. The attitude that
comes across is that even if his English were perfect he would still be
throwing out gratuitous insults and sneering at anyone with a contrary
opinion. He is indeed technically capable (which doesn't mean he is always
right because in some areas there really is more than one legitimate point
of view, contrary to what he seems to think), but the fact that we're even
having this discussion indicates an unusual level of unhappiness among
members of the list.

As things stand now, I don't favour banning him. I just wish he'd grow up.
