Yes, I understand your point but I have nothing better to do and it's an
interesting problem, I may learn something messing with it too.
If I can't make it work acceptably I can switch monitors around or
perhaps even buy another one. Problem there is that this ViewSonic
monitor has been laying around here unused for a couple of years and it
needs to do some work.
