According to said bug, this is/will-be fixed in kde-4.10.2 release, which 
according to:
http://techbase.kde.org/Schedules/KDE4/4.10_Release_Schedule
will be shortly after apr 2 (or if someone in kde-sig takes the time/effort 
to backport the fix before then).
