It depends on the hardware your using.
As F15 is old in Fedora Releases,
the "driver" you need may not be 
built into it.

If you are able to download a live media of F18,
and boot from the CD\DVD drive see will it boot and run.
In whatever Desktop suits you:

If the newer release works, you know a upgrade is required.
