yum-fastestmirror is not the default, it should be

and here in AT the local mirror goes down to some bytes per second
and the CentOS-VM's where you can't get rid of yum-fastest-mirror
are creeping around while the fedora machines are downloading
with 5-10 MB (Megabytes) per seond
