strange issue with notify-send

I have no problem even with very long lines from notify-send.   The long
lines wrap as needed and are centered in the box.  1280x1024 display.

This is on an F19 system using XFCE, fully updated as of today.

Linux ... 3.10.10-200.fc19.x86_64
