Not to muddy this up any more...   :-)

Are you saying that this 'line' in not in Thunderbird's config or that
changing this *exact* line does nothing?

I ask because if the line is not there you can add it. This does not
always work but often it does. Roll the dice and try it. If it does not
work you can remove it.

Roll the die. You might get a '20'. Or you might get a '2'. Ya' never
know.  :-)
