Well dedicated GPU aren't meant to be run 24x7. Nvidia Optimus switches to
dedicated GPU under heavy graphic processes. We don't have anything like that
on Linux. Just turning ON the dedicated GPU would make system temperature rise
by at least 10C and power consumption also by 5-10W.

You know I am talking about a laptop. I am not sure if GPUs have fans in
laptops.
