Mainly because it falls into the "new and therefore better"
rabbit hole fedora (and it seems all other linux distros)
is dedicated to jumping down.

It really does enable my system to boot infinitely faster
than the alternatives, but it is too bad it doesn't confine
itself to just getting the system booted, then get out
of the way. (But at least that will provide an opportunity
for a fork of the project someday that does just boot the
system - then the fork will be new and therefore better :-).
