I have a feeling this is going to have something to
do with the nvidia.com driver version being at 337.25
and the latest version in rpmfusion being 331.something

I think the ubuntu proprietary repos have newer
versions, so I'll give ubuntu a try and maybe I'll
get some version of linux with full support (I'd
hate to have to be forced to run Windows just to
use my monitor).
