It could have been a brownout that seemed to switch off all the other 
powerpoints and the house lights as well as the street lights and house 
lights on the other houses on our side of the street. I just didn't 
understand how I could have 2 powerboards plugged into a double wall 
socket and have one powerboard with the led lit and the other one not, 
especially if there was only 1 connection point to the house wires.
