Oh, one thing you'll notice is that these drives have been automounted and they have been mounted at created mount point equal to the partitions label....

/dev/sdd1: LABEL="source_sync" UUID="36CC878C70FF1EC2" TYPE="ntfs" PARTUUID="0007fd62-01"
/dev/sdd2: LABEL="svn_rep_backup" UUID="536D2D1D271A67D1" TYPE="ntfs" PARTUUID="0007fd62-02"

So, you may be happy with that mount point as it will always be the same....
