Is there a "real" 3d desktop for Fedora?

If the source code is available, it would be cool to see someone port 
the old SGI program Button Fly to Linux.

Actually, I'd like to see an Open Source port ( or clone ) of Indigo 
Magic ( the whole Irix desktop ) to Linux.

That would be cool.
