Finding and downloading missing font

I would like to install this font but can't, since it's already
installed. I suspect that it may not be the needed font, since the
package description points to https://fedorahosted.org/lohit/ , which
describes the font:
...Currently, the font family supports 21 Indian languages:
Assamese, Bengali, Devanagari (Hindi, Kashmiri, Konkani,
Maithili, Marathi, Nepali, Sindhi, Santali, Bodo, Dogri),
Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Manipuri, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil,
        and Telugu.

BTW: How did you get LibreOffice to tell you this?

Thanks - jon
