OK, I dragged the .m3u list (containing file:// urls) and
it played it just fine and I could see the list in the playlist
display. But nevertheless, smplayer needs to let the user
play it via the file -> Playlist -> [browser] -> select the playlist.
I will try to suggest it to the smplayer mailing list.
Dragging the same file bu named as plist.pls into smplayer
did not play nor display anything.
I think smplayer needs to be more flexible regarding this.
