One might presume that a router should always work that way, but I
certainly wouldn't rely on unknown hardware to do what I wanted.  Nor
would I presume that they're put a router into the LAN, rather than an
unmanaged switch or access point.  I can certainly do wireless client to
wireless client stuff through my wireless access point.
