question about burning and then reading (dd) to confirm sha256sum

This has been my method always at 2X speed.

It turned out to be the blanks. My eyes are not what they used
to be. When I examined the outer edges I notices the strange
manufacturing blemishes that became apparent under the direct
sunlight.
