dnf cached per user?

Is dnf metadata cached per user?  How do I get to make sure the latest
cached data is always used, regardless of the user?

[sdstern at sds-desk download]$ dnf search xxxxxxx
Last metadata expiration check performed 6 days, 7:08:50 ago on Thu May
28 07:53:23 2015.
Error: No matches found.

[sdstern at sds-desk download]$ sudo dnf search xxxxxx
